Site Agent (Residential Building) - Construction Industry
Overview
RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established building contractor, is seeking a strong and experienced Site Agent to join their team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of new-build residential developments and must have a proven track record managing residential construction projects from start to completion.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ construction experience, with a strong track record in site management
- Proven experience as a Site Agent on new-build residential projects
- Relevant National Diploma, BTech or degree in Construction Management, Building Science or Civil Engineering
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building processes and site management
- Experience managing subcontractors, labour, materials and plant
- Strong programme and progress monitoring skills
- Good understanding of QA/QC, health & safety and snag management
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and documentation
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Must be highly organised, hands-on and able to take full responsibility for site delivery
