Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a Trainee Manager for their Heidelberg Region. You will learn overall store operations under direction and supervision of a store manager.
Requirements
- Grade 12/ Matric
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in store retail management disciplines including stock management, cash, reporting, expense control and customer service
- Computer literate – MS Office
- Willing and able to work retail hours
- Valid driver's license
- Own reliable transport
Responsibilities
- Ensure processing of items including goods in transit, cycle counts, and physical stock to system matches
- Assist with planning, implementation, and maintenance of promotional stock displays
- Assist with adherence, implementation, and maintenance of labeling, pricing and layout standards
- Assist with goods receiving duties guided by standard operating procedures
- Assist with achieving set store sales targets
- Support management to ensure promotions are effectively executed
- Assist with daily cash-ups and review of reconciliation packs
- Assist with addressing customer complaints promptly
- Assist with people administration duties including leave management and scheduling
- Participate and engage in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities
